On behalf of the Chairman and the club committee can I thank all of the captains, umpires, coaches, players, parents, volunteers and anyone else I have overlooked (sorry) for your incredible support to the hockey club this year.

We must also thank the staff at Aylesbury Vale Academy (Annie in particular) and the clerks at RAF Halton regarding pitch and facility bookings and the bar staff at the Sports Club for all there assistance.

We cannot run the hockey club without you! I would also like to single out FairHive, a charitable registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 (registration number 8826) who provided us with a £3000.00 micro grant to offset our junior coaching costs and some equipment purchases. I would also like to thank those anonymous supporters that have collectively provided over £3300.00 to support those experiencing financial challenges in the club at the moment, and funds towards goal keeping costs and the purchase of a new equipment shed. Which will need volunteers to erect in the New Year (Please!)

Looking ahead we have a number of events planned:
- Boxing Day Hockey - details on the events page, please put your name down to allow us to gauge interest. Juniors playing from 1100hrs, mixed seniors from 1215hrs.
- Quiz Night on Saturday 25 January 2025
- Ladies led games night on 1 March 2025
- End of Season Dinner and Team awards on 5 April 2025

All that's left for me to say now is Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year to you all, and with matches for some teams resuming on 4 January, please update your availability on Pitchero.
